TruAbutment T-Marker is now available at Dentcore

Dentcore now sells TruAbutment T-Marker. It is a set of coded markers that screw onto multi-unit abutments, plus an app that reads them with the camera on an iPad Pro or iPhone Pro. The result is an STL file of the MUA positions, ready for the lab.

Three kits are available, one for each connection family: AOT, URIS and Straumann®.

What T-Marker does

Intraoral scans of full-arch implant cases can run into stitching errors, and scan bodies are not always easy to reach. TruAbutment built T-Marker as an extraoral way to capture where each MUA sits. There is no calibration step and no cable to connect.

You seat the markers, open the T-Marker app, and move the device over the arch. The app tracks up to ten markers at once and shows DONE on each one when its position is captured.

The three kits

• AOT kit, $3,000: 10 markers, 10 HS Cap Small and a Hex 1.25 screwdriver for the All-on-T (M1.4) connection.
• URIS kit, $3,000: the same layout for the URIS (M1.6) connection, which also covers MIS and Ritter.
• Straumann® kit, $4,000: 2 ST35 and 10 ST46 markers with matching HS Cap Small and a Torx screwdriver.

An iPad or iPhone and the T-Marker app plan are not part of the kit. App plans start at $99 a month with unlimited STL exports.
