What is T-Marker? MUA photogrammetry on iPad and iPhone
T-Marker is TruAbutment's multi-unit abutment (MUA) detecting system. It has two parts: a kit of coded markers that screw onto the MUAs, and the T-Marker app on an Apple device. Together they produce MUA location data as an STL file.

The markers
Each T-Marker is a small black anodized post with a printed code and rows of dots. Every marker in a kit carries its own identification number, so the app always knows which marker it is looking at. A kit holds ten consecutive numbers (twelve in the StraumannĀ® kit).
The app
The TruSuite T-Marker app runs on an iPad Pro (2024 or newer) or an iPhone 15 Pro and newer Pro models. It is on the Apple App Store and is not available for Android. Once a plan is active, you pair the device, set up the case and start capturing.
What comes out
When every marker shows DONE, you choose an export type: HS Cap Small, HS Cap, MUA Cone or Dual Align Scan Body. The app exports the MUA positions as an STL that you send by email or AirDrop, or you save the case in the app.

- An iPad Pro (2024 or newer) or an iPhone 15 Pro or newer Pro / Pro Max.
- A T-Marker app plan: $99 monthly, $499 for six months or $899 for twelve months.
