Permanent work,
milled from PMMA.

Ordinary PMMA is for temporaries. Graphene makes G-CAM and G-BLOCK strong enough for final crowns, bridges and dentures. FDA 510(k) cleared, made in Spain.

The material

Why graphene?

G-CAM and G-BLOCK are PMMA reinforced with medical-grade graphene, made by Graphenano in Spain. The graphene makes the resin stiffer and tougher, so it handles permanent work that ordinary PMMA is only cleared for as a temporary.

  1. Holds its shape under loadHigh stiffness, so chewing forces do not leave permanent deformation or cracks.
  2. Light and stableLow density, very low water uptake and stable color over time.
  3. BiocompatibleResidual monomer under 0.004%. Passed ISO 10993 and ISO 7405 biocompatibility testing.
  4. No furnaceMill, finish and deliver. No sintering or crystallization step.

Questions

Will it fit my mill?

The 98.5 mm disc has a universal mount and fits most open CAD/CAM mills. The 95 mm disc is made for Zirkonzahn systems. G-BLOCK has a universal mandrel and fits any mill that takes blocks. Not sure? Call us with your mill model.

Is it for permanent or temporary work?

Both. G-CAM and G-BLOCK are indicated for permanent and temporary restorations. G-CAM is FDA 510(k) cleared (K220329), and so is G-BLOCK (K253236).

Monochroma or Multichroma?

Multichroma has a natural shade gradient and looks right straight from the mill. Monochroma is one even dentine shade, the better base if you characterize with stains. Transparent (TR) is Monochroma only.

Do I need a furnace?

No. G-CAM and G-BLOCK are milled and finished mechanically. There is no sintering or crystallization step.

What are the design minimums?

Crowns: 0.4 mm at the margin and 0.6 mm occlusal. Veneers: at least 0.3 mm. Connectors: at least 9 mm² anterior and 13 mm² posterior. Cantilevers up to 11 mm with a load check. Full tables are in the design parameters PDF.

How do I mill it?

Use your mill's PMMA strategy, wet or dry. Graphenano reports about 28 units per disc on average. Never force or modify a disc to fit a holder.

How do I cement it?

Sandblast the intaglio with aluminium oxide, clean with alcohol and dry. Use a dual-cure resin cement and follow that cement's instructions. The full protocol is in the work process PDF.

How do I finish and polish it?

Characterize with light-curing stains if needed. G-TOOLS Laboratory takes a milled piece to a high gloss in three steps. G-TOOLS Clinic handles adjustments and re-polishing chairside.

How do I choose a shade?

Shades follow VITA classical. Use the physical G-CAM Shade Guide; colors on a screen are not accurate.

Is it biocompatible?

Yes. G-CAM passed ISO 10993-1 and ISO 7405 testing, including cytotoxicity, sensitization, irritation, systemic toxicity, genotoxicity and implantation. Residual monomer is under 0.004%.

Can G-PRINT be used in the mouth?

No. G-PRINT Model Resin V2 is for dental models only. It works on DLP printers curing at 385 to 405 nm; Graphenano supplies a calibration file to set it up on your printer.
