Learn more Graphenano Dental

G-CAM Monochroma is a graphene-reinforced PMMA milling disc from Graphenano Dental in Spain. Choose 95 mm or 98.5 mm diameter, then thickness and shade. For permanent and temporary restorations within the manufacturer's indications, design parameters and processing instructions.

One pure dentine shade through the whole disc. The best base when you characterize with stains or layer.

Specifications

Diameter Choice of 95 mm or 98.5 mm; match your mill and holder.
Mount Zirkonzahn-format holder for 95 mm; compatible open-system disc holder for 98.5 mm.
Fits Confirm the holder, disc format and CAM strategy for your specific mill. Do not force or modify a disc to fit.
Thickness For 95 mm: 14, 16, 20 or 24 mm. For 98.5 mm: 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26 or 30 mm.
Format Monochroma

Workflow

  1. Scan intraorally or from a model.
  2. Design with the G-CAM design parameters.
  3. Mill with your mill's PMMA strategy, wet or dry. Never force or modify a disc to fit a holder.
  4. Separate, remove connectors and adjust.
  5. Characterize with light-curing stains if needed; finish with G-TOOLS Laboratory.
  6. Sandblast, clean and cement with a dual-cure resin cement.

Questions

Will it fit my mill?

Choose 95 mm for a compatible Zirkonzahn-format holder or 98.5 mm for a compatible open-system holder. Diameter alone does not guarantee compatibility. Call (844) 292-8023 with your mill model if you are unsure.

Monochroma or Multichroma?

Multichroma looks natural straight from the mill. Monochroma is one even shade, better if you characterize; transparent (TR) is Monochroma only.

Is it for permanent or temporary work?

Both. G-CAM is indicated for permanent and temporary restorations and is FDA 510(k) cleared (K220329).

Do I need a furnace?

No. G-CAM is milled and finished mechanically, with no sintering or crystallization step.

What are the design minimums?

Crowns 0.4 mm at the margin and 0.6 mm occlusal; veneers at least 0.3 mm; connectors at least 9 mm² anterior and 13 mm² posterior; cantilevers up to 11 mm with a load check. Full tables are in the design parameters document below.

How do I cement it?

Sandblast the intaglio with aluminium oxide, clean with alcohol and dry, then use a dual-cure resin cement following that cement's instructions.

How do I choose a shade?

Shades follow VITA classical. Use the physical G-CAM Shade Guide; colors on a screen are not accurate.
