Medit iE is a lightweight, wired intraoral scanner for everyday scan-and-send dentistry. Its third-generation optical engine, 18 × 15 mm field of view and 165 g handpiece work with Medit Link to connect case creation, scanning and lab communication in one workflow.

Scan, review and send
- Create and scan: register the patient and case in Medit Link, connect iE to a compatible computer and capture the scan.
- Review: inspect the scan and case information before transfer.
- Send: share the case with your connected lab through Medit Link.
Computer compatibility and software options
Confirm the current Medit Link operating-system, processor, graphics, memory and USB Power Delivery requirements for your specific computer before ordering. A USB-C connector alone does not establish compatibility.
Everyday case creation, scanning and lab transfer are included. Realtime Intelligence is an optional subscription for iE, and additional Medit Apps are available separately. You can add iE to an existing Medit Link account to retain access to your cases and lab connections.
Medit SmartX for All-on-X and Medit Link Express for iPad and Mac are i900-series workflows, not included iE capabilities. Medit Link desktop compatibility is separate from Medit Link Express support.
Care and reprocessing
Clean and reprocess reusable tips according to the current Medit instructions for use. The stated 150-cycle limit depends on following the specified sterilization and drying procedures. Do not substitute general cleaning advice for the device-specific instructions.

Is Medit iE in stock?
This listing is available for preorder. Medit announced vendor inventory availability for October 8, 2026; that is not a guaranteed Dentcore shipment or delivery date. Your shipment timing will be confirmed.
Do I need a separate computer?
Yes. iE is a wired scanner used with a compatible computer and Medit Link. Choose Scanner + laptop if you also need a supplied laptop, and confirm its specifications before purchase.
Is a subscription required for the basic workflow?
Case creation, scanning, lab transfer and software updates are included. Optional capabilities, including Realtime Intelligence for iE and additional Medit Apps, may require separate payment or subscription.
Can I use iE as a second scanner?
Yes. It can use the same Medit Link account, keeping your existing cases and lab connections together.
Does iE support iPad scanning or Medit SmartX?
Those are i900-series workflows. iE's Medit Link desktop support should not be confused with Medit Link Express for iPad and Mac.
Are the scanning tips reusable?
Large and medium tips can be autoclaved up to 150 cycles according to the manufacturer's instructions. Confirm the tip sizes and quantities in your supplied configuration.
