EZneer is not a single generic veneer disc. The useful choice starts with restoration thickness, shade strategy, nesting position, and how the laboratory plans to bond and finish the restoration.
Aidite separates the system into preshaded single-layer options and multilayer options. That distinction matters because a 0.3 mm veneer does not behave like a 0.8 mm restoration, and a shade transition that looks attractive in a thick disc can become difficult to position when the design is extremely thin.

Single-layer is a control decision
Aidite lists EW, BW, HV, and LV preshaded EZneer choices for thinner work, including published thickness guidance in the 0.3 to 0.5 mm range. In practical terms, the technician gains a more uniform starting shade and avoids placing a very thin restoration across a transition zone that may be hard to predict.
That makes single-layer material worth considering when consistency and conservative preparation matter more than a built-in cervical-to-incisal gradient. The shade still needs to be evaluated with the planned cement, preparation color, surface texture, and final glaze because thin zirconia allows the supporting environment to influence the final result.
Multilayer rewards deliberate nesting
Aidite lists BWM, HVM, LVM, H, A1, and B1 multilayer choices with published thickness guidance in the 0.5 to 0.8 mm range. The gradient is useful only when the restoration is nested intentionally. Moving the design vertically changes where the cervical, body, and incisal portions fall.
Before milling a full case, confirm the nesting height on a representative unit and compare the result after the complete finishing cycle. The goal is not to chase the most dramatic gradient; it is to create a repeatable relationship between the design, disc position, shade target, and finishing protocol.
Bonding and finishing belong in the material decision
EZneer selection should be made together with the bonding workflow. Aidite positions LiSi Connect as part of its veneer workflow, but the laboratory and clinician still need to follow current surface-treatment, cement, and preparation instructions for the specific case.
A useful internal protocol records disc family, shade, thickness, nesting height, sintering program, stain or glaze additions, preparation color, and final cement. That record turns a successful case into a reproducible workflow instead of a one-time visual judgment.
A practical selection rule
Start with the minimum finished thickness and the amount of shade transition the restoration can physically contain. Use single-layer when uniformity and thin-section control dominate. Use multilayer when the restoration has enough thickness for the transition and the lab can control nesting. Run a small validation set before changing a production protocol.
