BiLumix Amber Light Filter (Flip)

Flip-down amber filter for BiLumix Gen 2 and Gen 2S headlamps. Blocks the blue-light wavelengths that prematurely cure light-activated dental materials, while still providing enough illumination to work.

Why Amber Filtering

• Prevents premature curing — composites, bonding agents, and light-cure materials are activated by blue light (400-500 nm). The amber filter blocks this range so you can place and sculpt materials without the clock ticking.
• Flip mechanism — flip the amber filter down when placing composites, flip it up when you’re ready to cure. No removing and reattaching filters mid-procedure.
• Maintains visibility — amber-filtered light still provides adequate illumination for material placement and manipulation.

When to Use

Any procedure involving light-cure materials: composite restorations, bonding, veneer cementation, sealants. Flip the filter down before dispensing material, work at your own pace, then flip up and cure with your curing light.
