A printer built for the operatory footprint
The Aris measures 257 × 236 × 364 mm and weighs under 10 kg. That is small enough to live on a counter rather than in a dedicated lab room, which is the whole point of a clinical printer: the device has to fit where the work happens, not the other way around. The footprint also tells you the intended user. This is a printer for a practice bringing a few print categories in-house, not a production farm running dozens of plates a day.

Why 34 µm pixels and 4K matter
The Aris uses a 4K LCD screen with a 34 µm pixel size. Pixel size is the practical limit on how fine the printer can resolve detail in the XY plane, so a smaller pixel means crisper margins on a restoration and cleaner fit surfaces on a guide. Pairing a 34 µm pixel with a 4K panel is what lets the printer hold that detail across a full build area instead of only in the center. The temperature-controlled build platform
The build platform auto-maintains 30°C. Resin viscosity and cure behavior shift with temperature, so a cold first plate of the morning and a warm mid-afternoon plate can come off the printer with slightly different results. Holding the platform at a set temperature removes that variable, which is how you get the same outcome from the first print of the day as the tenth. It is a small specification that does real work for consistency.
A screen you can swap in about ten seconds
The LCD screen is a consumable on any masked-LCD printer; it wears and eventually needs replacing. Shining 3D designed the Aris screen to be replaceable in roughly ten seconds. The reason this matters is downtime. On many printers a screen swap is a fiddly job that can take the unit out of service, and in a clinical setting that means a print queue stalls. They are useful as a sense of scale rather than a guarantee: the Aris is quick enough to fit printing into a clinical day, but post-processing, washing, and curing still sit on top of the raw print time.
