ID Light Cure materials: Gum Flow, Gum Putty, Crown Flow and Nano Stain

ID Light Cure Gum Flow, Gum Putty, Crown Flow and Nano Stain are materials for different parts of a prosthetic workflow. Choose the material role first, then the shade and package. A gingival composite, a provisional crown material and a characterization stain answer different purchasing needs.

This guide compares the four product families available through Dentcore. It covers selection and ordering; use the current product instructions and the applicable substrate and curing guidance for the actual procedure.

Gum Flow: a flowable gingival composite

Gum Flow is a light-curing composite for gingival reproduction and characterization in prosthetic work. Its syringe presentation suits a purchase list that calls for a flowable material. The official product information describes applications involving gingival areas of dentures and other prostheses.

Dentcore lists 11 shade choices: Pink, Light Pink, Dark Pink, Peach, Garnet/Granate, Red Orange, Ruby, Navy, Chocolate, Violet and Grey. Select the exact shade rather than ordering by the product family alone. The Garnet/Granate wording on the Dentcore option helps match the Granate name used in the brand's shade list.

Gum Putty: choose consistency, shade and jar size

Gum Putty is the putty-consistency member of the gingival composite line. The current brand shop lists 20 g and 50 g jars. Dentcore has Pink, Light Pink and Dark Pink in both jar sizes, giving six distinct order choices.

Flow and Putty should remain separate entries on a purchase list even when both are needed for the same prosthesis. Match the form to the documented workflow and the operator's material request. A jar size does not tell you how many cases it will cover; consumption depends on the work performed.

Crown Flow: tooth-shaded provisional work

The official Crown Flow product page describes a flowable or injectable indirect resin composite for provisional restorations, including temporary crowns and bridges. That role differs from a pink gingival material or a thin characterization stain.

Dentcore's current individual product options are A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, BL1, E1 and E2. Order the required option explicitly. An individual shade selection does not include every shade in a master kit. Confirm kit contents on the specific kit listing when your purchase requires a set.

Keep the intended restoration, substrate and preparation system in the order notes. Do not extend a provisional indication to a permanent application or assume that every resin combination has the same preparation requirements.

Crown Flow is a separate tooth-shaded material family. Individual shades and kits are different order choices.

Nano Stain: characterization and shade effects

Nano Stain is a light-curing characterization material for resin and composite prosthetics. Its range includes body shades, effect shades and opaque choices. Select it for the documented characterization task, with the underlying restorative material identified.

Dentcore currently lists 16 individual options. Examples include A body through D body, Beige Opaque, Pink Opaque, Mamelon Brown, Smoke Blue and Trans Pink. Similar-looking names across different product families do not make the materials interchangeable. Check the full item name and shade on the order confirmation.

Check the package label when units differ

Some official Gum Flow listings use 6 ml in the title and 6 g in the presentation text. Older Gum Putty information also shows a different jar size from the current 20 g and 50 g shop options. Match the current product label and the exact Dentcore variant before ordering. Mass and volume are different measurements and should not be substituted without the product's documented information.

Build a clear material order

Record the product family, full shade name, package size and quantity. For a combined workflow, add the exact base material and any specified bonding or surface-treatment products. Check the current instructions for compatibility and curing requirements rather than using one generic setting for every item in the line.

Confirm current availability for the selected variants with Dentcore. A product page and shade selector do not establish a shipment date. Keeping these details together helps distinguish a straightforward replenishment order from a request for a new material combination.
